The app keeps your audio, transcript and code on your computer. The website collects only the email you give the waitlist. We don’t sell data or use it for advertising.

The website

• We collect the waitlist email, plus your OS and AI plan if you choose to share them.
• Our host keeps standard server logs (IP address, user agent) for a short period.
• No cookies, no third-party trackers, no advertising scripts. Fonts are self-hosted.
• Your browser’s local storage holds your theme choice and nothing else.
• To be removed from the list, email hello@thrive.example. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Waitlist rows are stored in Cloudflare D1. We keep them until you ask us to delete them, or until one year after the last email we send.

The app (when it ships)

• Stored on your computer: audio, transcript, event log, code snapshots, review and usage totals, in the app’s data folder.
• Transcription runs on your device.
• Sent to your AI provider: a condensed timeline (code at checkpoints, short transcript excerpts) so it can ask follow-up questions and write the review. It goes through your own Claude Code or Codex login, under that provider’s terms. Thrive does not control the provider’s retention.
• Thrive Cloud is optional. If you sign in and opt in, the condensed timeline goes to Thrive’s server and on to a zero-data-retention model provider. It is not stored. Thrive keeps your sign-in identity, hashed device IDs and usage counts, never prompts, transcripts, code or model output.
• API-key mode keeps your key in your operating system’s secure storage and sends it only to the provider you chose.
• Thrive does not read, copy or store your Claude or ChatGPT credentials. It runs the official tools, which sign in themselves.
• No telemetry by default. Anything optional later will be opt-in and described here first.

What Thrive will never do

• Upload your audio.
• Help during a live interview.
